- The Sara-Placid Lakers 14U girls team won their division of the Lake Placid International Youth Hockey Tournament on Saturday. The Lakers beat King Phillip Walpole 1-0 in the championship to earn the title, despite King Phillip Walpole topping them earlier in the tournament. The squad also beat the Potsdam Ice Storm and the Hamburg Hawks.
