SLHS athletics hall 2024 class honored

SARANAC LAKE — All six Saranac Lake High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductees for the Class of 2024 have been honored over the course of the past two sports seasons.

Individuals were recognized in June at the end of the school year’s sports awards, and teams are recognized at halftime of the individual sport in the season prior to their induction.

The Saranac Lake High School Hall of Fame’s purpose is to honor individuals or teams who have made outstanding contributions to Saranac Lake High School’s Athletic Department.

The Hall of Fame Class of 2024 goes as follows:

Individuals:

Nikki Trudeau: Graduated in 2012, participated in JV Football, Volleyball, Indoor Track and Field, and Outdoor Track and Field.

Forrest Morgan: Graduated in 2011, participated in Football, Basketball, Track and Field, and Lacrosse.

Devin Darrah: Graduated in 2012, participated in Football, Hockey, and Golf.

Teams:

1995 Football Team: Section VII Champions, NYS Regional Champions, Eastern NYS Champions, State Final runner up.

2005 Girls Soccer Team: Section VII Champions, NYS Regional Champions, NYS Final Four participants.

1993-1994 Boys Basketball Team: Section VII Champions, NYS Regional Champions, NYS Final Four participants.

The Hall of Fame committee is currently seeking nominations for the 2025 Hall of Fame Class. Teams or individuals must have graduated at least 10 years ago to be eligible. Please visit the district’s athletics website at slcs.org/departments/athletics and fill out the google form.
