SARANAC LAKE — The St. Bernard’s Black Fly 5-kilometer run, walk, roll or stroll is back for another year.

Organizers hope that the event, which is a fundraiser for St. Bernard’s School’s financial assistance program, brings a fun experience for participants of all ages and abilities. The race will be held at Dewey Mountain Recreation Center on June 1, with an 11 a.m. start time and registration kicking off at 10 a.m.

Following the race, there will be activities including a Lego table, crafts and lawn games. There will also be food provided by Ed Council Grille and beverages from Hex and Hop Brewing. All participants will receive a custom T-shirt designed by Stacked Graphics as well as a tin of all-natural insect repellent, Bye Bye Blackfly.
