The Adirondack North Stars, a youth basketball team consising of Tri-Lakes players, completed its travel season campaign with a 10-3 record and a tournament win in Utica this past weekend. The squad left Utica with a 5-1 record and netted wins against Utica, Johnstown, Unatego, Waverly and Mohawk Valley. Pictured are the nine girls who were selected to compete in the New York State Ski Racing Association. Four local second-year U14’s and one first-year U14 advanced to the U14 Eastern Regional Junior Championships. The locals include Nora Petrocci, Luke Wardlaw, Leland Carpenter and Cecilia Norfolk, as well as Plattsburgh native Georgie Larkin. NYSEF Winter Term athletes, Poppy Hamilton, Dash Hamilton and Clare Delay also were selected.
