Lake Placid girls topped by Bolton hoops
LAKE PLACID — The Lake Placid girls basketball team suffered a 51-14 loss to the Bolton Eagles on Wednesday afternoon.
Playing on their home court, the Blue Bombers got off to a rocky start, giving up a big deficit that became too difficult to come back from.
Lake Placid had a solid fourth quarter, scoring 10 points, but ultimately fell, dropping the team’s overall record to 0-4.
The Eagles had three players in triple digits. Jadynn Egloff paced the team with 16 points, while Maille Kelley added 12 and Thea Kennedy had 11. Bolton’s Hannah Daken and Riley Huck scored five points each.
Abbey Light led the Blue Bombers with seven points. Kyra Jordon had six points and Danna Perez had one point.
Lake Placid is slated to host Wells at 6:30 p.m. today.
