- Nancie Battaglia of Lake Placid rings her bell while riding down Forest Home Road in Saranac Lake during the annual Pat Stratton Memorial Ride on Saturday. The ride consisted of three distances for bikers, including a 22-mile ride, a 49-mile ride and a 100-mile ride. More than 100 riders attended the event that raised money for the local Kiwanis youth programs and for the children of the Saranac Lake School District.
