NYSEF athletes Max Fey, left, and Jack Kroll share the top podium spot with NYSEF’s Eli Larkin in third place after the Empire State Winter Games ski jumping event on Saturday for the U16 boys on the K20 in Lake Placid. Fey and Kroll tied the event with a score of 61.5, while Larkin’s score was 60. NYSEF youngsters Henri Gaboriau and Adalina Weibrecht won the boys and girls ski jumping events, respectively, on the K10 jumps. NYSEF’s Knox Lustberg finished third in the boys’ K10 event.

NYSEF’s Leila Fey, center, stands on top of the podium after winning Saturday’s Empire State Winter Games U12 ski jumping event on the K20 hill at the Olympic Jumping Complex. In the ski jumping event, Fey had the best two-jump score of 45.5 and finished with the 3K Nordic race in 12:46.

Fey finished the 6K boys Nordic race in a time of 19:13, while Kroll finished in 19:18 and Van Dorn finished in 19:58.
