Wow! We are so incredibly grateful to have been part of the Saranac Lake Music Legends Winter Carnival 2025.

It is so hard to know where to begin with our thanks, but here we go!

Thank you so much to those who nominated us and to the past Winter Carnival Kings and Queens for bestowing on us this honor. Thank you to 2024 Queen Liz and King Ricky for passing the torch.

Thank you so much to our royal family, who are now forever friends. To Princess Annie, Prince Owen, Archbishop Gar, Chamberlain Sue; to court members Whitney, Zuleyka, Abby, Emily, Marley, Muna, Tristan, Nate, Zack, Sam, Andrew, Liam, Chayse and Dillon; to pages Harper, Hannah, Marley, Atticus, Tanner and Luke. Thank you so much for being the absolute best! And, Katie Fischer, you are truly the best and greatly appreciated by us.

Thank you to Nancy Heath, Patti Ploof, Cherie and Steve Racette for setting us on our way. Thank you for making sure we were royally attired and knew what direction we were going in.

Thank you to Carnival photographer Meachele Manchester, who was everywhere and capturing every moment. The slide show was amazing. Thank you Meachele and all the Carnival photographers for giving us a lifetime of memories.

Thank you to the Adirondack Daily Enterprise for keeping us in the spotlight.

IPW volunteers: The daily frigid temperatures would have scared most away, but not you. Thank you for the spectacular Ice Palace that you created for so many to enjoy. It was certainly a highlight. The fireworks were simply amazing.

Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Committee, we thank you. The time, energy and dedication that you put into keeping the tradition of Carnival alive and so wonderful year after year is an amazing feat for a group of volunteers. We are incredibly grateful to you.

Thank you to our spouses Sue Cherny and Clay Sauvie for joining us on our royal adventure. We love you.

Thank you to the Elks Club, the Rotary Club, the Women’s Civic Chamber and all the Winter Carnival sponsors. Thank you to all the village employees who pitch in to make Carnival happen. Thank you to all of those who play a part in making this happen and who we missed mentioning.

Lastly, we thank the community of Saranac Lake! Thank you for all the acknowledgments, smiles, high fives, bows and curtseys, waves, cheers and hugs.

This honor lasts the whole year. As king and queen, we plan on actively repping Saranac Lake and Winter Carnival for that entire time. Happy Carnival everyone!
