To the editor:

I write to you from my home in Brooklyn, but I am a lifelong visitor to the Adirondacks, a proud 46er, a supporter of numerous Adirondack organizations — and a lifelong reader of the Adirondack Daily Enterprise.

As someone who cares deeply about this region, I’ve read with concern your reports about the impact of federal government actions on our schools, our farmers, our immigrant workers, our LGBTQ community and more. I am grateful for your coverage of these issues. Your work is needed now more than ever.

I write this letter after signing up for year-round digital access to your reporting to support the journalism of the Adirondack Daily Enterprise. I hope every Adirondack resident and visitor does the same. My subscription is long overdue.
