The family of Shirley M. Dechene would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered condolences, kind words, and support during the recent and sudden loss of our mother.

We are especially grateful to the Tupper Lake Volunteer Ambulance and Emergency Services for their many trips and assistance with Mom. A special thank you to Adirondack Health Care Center for the compassionate care they provided throughout her stay and in her final days.

We also extend our deep appreciation to Sissy Arsanault, Father Jim Teti and Frary Funeral Home for a meaningful and hopeful service. In addition, thank you to Deanna Courtney and Sheila Larkin for the amazing heavenly music; Anne Eldred and Cabin Fever Floral for their beautifully crafted floral arrangements and to the VFW, Phil Smith, Tracie Luton, Carol Baldwin, and Debbie Jones for hosting and catering the Celebration of Life.

We are blessed by the kindness of Mom’s many friends, family members and acquaintances who shared their condolences. We are grateful for the special friendships of Alanna Fox, Nancy Corrow, Jean Mozdzier and the Woodlands community where mom lived the last 5 years of her life.

Your love and support mean more to us than words can express. Mom will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
