Bloomingdale emergency food box gets new signs

Dellice Chase accepts the new signs from Beckett Robinson. (Provided photo)

To the editor:

The Bloomingdale Emergency Food Box has new signs thanks to the hard work of Saranac Lake High School technology education teacher Mr. Uchal and his student Beckett Robinson. Now the food box has beautiful signs that will weather the tough winters in Bloomingdale. With the help of current caretaker, Coral Palyswiat, the signs were added just after the holidays.

The food box is located outside the Bloomingdale Fire Department and is available for donation of non-canned goods during the winter and any non-perishable food during the warmer months. Please check any expiration dates. As always, I’d like to thank everyone that contributes, allowing this emergency food box to continue!

Sincerely,

Dellice Chase
