The VFW Auxiliary Post 3357 would like to thank our wonderful community for participating in the Uniting to Combat Hunger Campaign by donating food and/or money for our local food pantries.

A special thank you to the Staritch Foundation, Amy Richardson, Jim Moscatello, Thomas Jacobs and all the people who donated directly to the food pantries for their generous monetary donations.

Thank you to the following collection sites — Bitters & Bones, Cavu Café, Coakley, Hex and Hop, Kinney’s, Lake Placid Legion, NBT Bank, Romanos, Shamrock, Saranac Lake Adult Center, Tri Lakes Credit Union, Saranac Lake Vets Club and Walgreens.

Because of your participation in this campaign, many local people suffering from food insecurity will have food on their tables for the holiday season and beyond. We appreciate your support which helped us surpass our goal. We will be looking for you next year when we ask again for your help to combat hunger.
