To the editor:

The Salvation Army of Saranac Lake would like to thank all the people who helped with this with this year’s Kettle Drive. It was very successful thanks to the many bellringers who volunteered their time in the cold weather to raise money for the needy in Saranac Lake.

We are very excited to report that we raised over $11,000. The majority of the money from the kettle campaign will be used to help people in emergency situations with rent, heat, utilities, medicine, clothing and more for people in the Saranac Lake area.

A big thank you to Rich Loeber and Martha Watts for making it a successful by going above and beyond committing to make Saranac Lake a better place.
