Image of the Week

The 80th anniversary of Philippine President Manuel Quezon’s death and Historic Saranac Lake’s Quezon Day festivities are coming up in a little over a week! This photograph, provided courtesy of the Quezon Family, shows the president just before his death at Camp Massapequa on Lower Saranac Lake. Quezon had been ill with tuberculosis for some time while operating a government-in-exile during WWII. HSL is holding a day-long festival in honor of Quezon on Saturday, Aug. 3. Join us from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for live music, dancing, food and more all over downtown Saranac Lake! Check our website for the full event listing for the day: https://www.historicsaranaclake.org/quezon-history-day.html. (Photo provided — Historic Saranac Lake)

Starting at $4.75/week.
