Lois G. Dukett

Born in Cadyville, she grew up in Saranac Lake and graduated from Saranac Lake High School in 1948. She spent the majority of her life in Saranac Lake. Lois married SSGT Theodore H. Dukett in 1950. She accompanied him for two tours of duty overseas. They were married for 16 years until his death in 1966.

Lois loved to do crossword puzzles, cook and take walks around Saranac Lake. She was an avid watcher of the news and always stayed current on events of the world. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Saranac Lake for many years. She spent 20 years as a resident of DeChantel Apartments and three years as a resident of Tupper Lake Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she passed away very peacefully and comfortably. Lois is predeceased by her husband Theodore and her daughter Patricia Ann. She is survived by her daughter Linda (Michael) Savarie of Saranac Lake and her granddaughter Aimee Savarie of Saranac Lake.

Funeral arrangements are in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home in Saranac Lake. At the request of Lois and her family, there will be no calling hours.

The family would like to thank Tupper Lake Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation for their love and care of Lois over the past three years.
