Lucy L. Preston
Lucy L. Preston, 62, of Alpine Lane, Lake Placid, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, after a lengthy illness on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025. Lucy was born in Lake Placid on May 17, 1962, the daughter of Clifford J. and Vivian (LaFountain) Reyell.
Lucy married the love of her life Kevin Preston on June 5, 1982. Together they raised two daughters and enjoyed outdoor activities including horseshoes, barbecues and camping. Her passion in life was cooking and taking care of others.
She is survived by her husband Kevin, her two children Keisha Jordon and her husband Justin, and Kylie Daby and her husband Daniel. She was the best nana to six grandchildren, Schyler Jordon, Spencer Daby, Talan Jordon, Kyra Jordon, Aubrey Daby and Gavin Daby. She is also survived by several brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and endless friends and loved ones.
Lucy was predeceased by her father and mother, her sister Vicky and her brother George.
There are no services scheduled at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at High Peaks Hospice.
