Donna Sullivan

Donna Marie Fox Sullivan was called home to Heaven after a courageous battle with cancer. She joins her predeceased family members including her beloved husband Steven Sullivan, her loving father Charles Fox, and two brothers in infancy, Douglas and Dean Fox.

She was born on March 11,1964 in Griffiss AFB Hospital, daughter of Captain Charles and Carol Edwards Fox.

Her childhood included many happy memories of time spent in the Adirondacks.

After graduating from Rome schools, she continued her education at St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in Utica, where she earned her RN degree.

Donna married the love of her life, Steve Sullivan, and they settled in the Adirondacks.

Donna worked in various Adirondack and Syracuse hospital locations before settling at AMC in Saranac Lake. She was employed at ADK Gastrointestinal and Colorectal Surgical Group, where she worked until the time of her death.

Donna’s favorite pastimes were gardening, swimming, boating and paddling the ponds and lakes with Steve. They enjoyed their Florida vacations whenever they could escape the Adirondacks.

Donna was a very active member of St. Agnes Church, serving as Eucharistic Minister and Alter Server. She also enjoyed volunteering with Samaritan’s Purse-Operation Christmas Child, packing gift-filled shoeboxes for children in need.

She is survived by her mother Carol Fox of Lake Placid; her sister Laura (Dave) Bennett and nephews Doug and Brad (Mary) Bennett or Libertyville, Illinois; brother Dan (Wendy) and nephews Charlie and Emmett Fox of Lake Placid; brother Greg (Mindy) and niece Abby Flickner (Jared) of Utica; nephew Conner Gratton (Julia) and great nephew Colsen Gratton of Mooers.
