Laura Lee Brier

She is survived by many loved ones, including her loving husband Garret Brier (66) of Lake Placid, and her three loving children: Leslie Brier (28) of Ausable Forks, Garret Brier Jr. (27) of Saranac Lake and Jade Brier (27) of Lewis.

She is survived as well by; her mother and sisters: (mother) Vivian Muzzy (76) of Vermontville, Belinda Harris (53) of New York, Sherry Brier (49) of New York and Patricia Hinkley (58) of New York. She also had numerous half brothers and sisters and far too many nieces and nephews to count.

Laura was a graduate of Saranac Lake High School and a longtime resident of Vermontville, and most recently Lake Placid. During her life she became a loving wife, wonderful mother, chef, caretaker and giver.

Laura was a quick witted, smart woman who could make anyone laugh. You could always find her doing a puzzle, reading a good book or doing beadwork. She also enjoyed watching heartwarming videos online and sharing those with anyone within earshot. She always had advice, an ear to listen and a cup of coffee for anyone who wanted or needed it.

Her love was felt by all those around her. She loved so completely it felt like a hug. Even long after she’d let go. Her love traveled far and was felt by all who knew her. We will miss her forever.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28 from 10 a.m. followed by a prayer service at 11 a.m. at the M. B. Clark, Inc., Funeral Home, Lake Placid. Rev. Richard Ducatte will officiate.
