Denny Brown
Denny Brown, 51, of Saranac Lake, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at the Adirondack Medical Center. Denny had been fighting kidney cancer for many years.
Denny was the son of Maurice and Inam Kwak Brown, the husband of Theresa Rusin and the father to Coral and Alina Brown. Denny served in the United States Army Reserves for 15 years. During this time, he served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, where he was an integral part of convoy operations throughout Iraq.
Denny was a corrections officer for the Federal Bureau of Prisons until he medically retired. He worked in three facilities in Colorado and New York. He was also a member of the Crisis Support Team.
Denny enjoyed bowling and fishing in his spare time. He developed many friendships over the years and was very thankful for all of them. He lit up every room he walked into and had the gift of bringing smiles to people’s faces. Thank you to all of the people who have supported our family with his fight against cancer.
