Katherine Elizabeth Oropallo

Born on March 27, 1983, Katherine, the youngest of five siblings, grew up on a farm near Oxford, Kansas. She graduated from Oxford High School in 2001 and then attended cosmetology school. Katherine met her husband, Tim Oropallo, while on vacation in Hawaii where they resided for a short time after marriage.

They later moved and settled in Lake Clear with their two children, FinnLee and Gunner, where Katherine opened her private salon for hair and makeup. She and her family enjoyed skiing in the Adirondack mountains, going on road trips in their van, and always being together. Katherine was loved and loved fiercely.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Oropallo, their two children FinnLee and Gunner, her parents Phillip and Rose Mary Kreidler, her sisters Amy Kreidler (Jay Nordeen), Jenny Ross (Joey Ross), and Rebecca Hertzel (Tim Hertzel) and her brother, Justin Kreidler. She is survived by her many nieces and nephews, in-laws, and many friends and loved ones.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 at 2 p.m at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid. Rev. John Yonkovig will officiate. Following the mass will be a celebration of life. Kat requested that if you attend the funeral or celebration of life, please wear Hawaiian or brightly colored clothing, no black and no ties.
