Denise (Miller) Gramer

Denise (Miller) Gramer passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Crownsville, Maryland, on May 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant battle with cancer.

She was born in Lake Placid on May 18, 1959 and attended school at St. Agnes and Lake Placid Central. She lived in Annapolis, Maryland, where she raised her two sons. She moved to Lake Placid in 1993 and worked for John Lansing, North Country Community College and St. Joseph’s rehabilitation Center. Her most recent home has been in Queen Valley, Arizona.

She is survived by her husband, Rick Gramer: her two sons: Colin and his wife, Kristin, and her three granddaughters, Adelyn, Elizabeth and Claire, and her son Dennis and his wife, Danielle; her mother, Maureen (Mickey) Miller, her brother, Dennis Miller, and her four sisters, Peggy, Mary Stanton, Susan, and Alice. She was predeceased by her grandparents, her father and another sister, Samantha. She also leaves her loving cousin Bill Lamb, many Miller cousins from Canton, and a lifetime of very dear friends.

She was an extraordinarily beautiful person … daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin and friend … and will be missed forever by all of us who loved her so much!

To celebrate her life a Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Saturday, June 23 at St. Agnes Church in Lake Placid with burial in St. Agnes Cemetery immediately following. We invite all to join us afterward for lunch at Mary Stanton’s home at 46 Essex St.

The M. B. Clark Inc. Funeral Home in Lake Placid is in charge of arrangements. Relatives and friends are invited to share a memory, order flowers, upload a photo or leave condolences at www.mbclarkfuneralhome.com.
