Continuing Education Scholarships available
SARANAC LAKE — Women’s College Scholarship Club is offering four $3,000 Continuing Education scholarships to people residing in Franklin or Essex County.
These scholarships are for men and women who wish to return to school after an absence of at least one year to change or enhance their careers. The scholarships can be used for colleges, universities, trade schools, and training programs. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Part-time students and those already in a program may apply.
Applications, along with directions for applying, are available at the Financial Aid Office at North Country Community College, the Financial Aid Office at Paul Smith’s College, and the Saranac Lake Free Library.
Applicants must submit the following by Friday, May 9: a personal letter explaining goals and two letters of recommendation from non-family members. For more information or to apply online, visit slwcscholarshipclub.com/continuing-education-scholarship.
Along with the four Continuing Education Scholarships, six $3,000 scholarships are available for graduating Saranac Lake Central School seniors through the Guidance Department. All ten scholarships are funded with money raised in 2024 by club members.
