Adirondack Health Foundation accepting scholarship applications

SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Health Foundation awards three $3,500 scholarships annually to students pursuing careers in nursing and allied health fields. Applications for the 2025 scholarship cycle are now open, with a submission deadline of June 15.

Since the program’s inception in 2011, the foundation has awarded more than $140,000 in scholarships to local students, helping to develop a skilled and dedicated regional healthcare workforce.

The scholarship program is open to Adirondack Health employees, children of Adirondack Health staff or retirees, and local community members who are committed to advancing their education in healthcare.

“This scholarship program is a reflection of our dedication to ensuring quality healthcare remains accessible in the Adirondacks,” said Jen Balog, executive director of the Adirondack Health Foundation. “By investing in the education of future healthcare professionals, we are not only supporting individual career growth, but also enhancing the compassionate care Adirondack Health provides to our community.”

To be considered, applicants must complete the required forms and submit all necessary documentation. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
