SARANAC LAKE — There will be a parking ban on all village streets from 4 p.m. on Saturday until 6 a.m. on Monday in preparation for the impending snow storm.

To allow for plows to clear the roads of the anticipated 6 to 10 inches of accumulation, streetside parking will be banned and violators will be ticketed and towed.

Parking will still be allowed in the municipal parking lots at the corner of Main Street and Lake Street, on Main Street next to ADK ArtRise, in the Dorsey Street lot and in the Pontiac Lot next to Berkeley Green.

Next week, the 1-3 Main Street Lot (Old Police Station) and Mid-Town Lot (next to the skate park) will be closed from 11 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 17 to 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18.

The Dorsey Street Municipal parking lot will be closed from 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 19 to 8 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20.
