SARANAC LAKE — The Adirondack Daily Enterprise and Lake Placid News in partnership with North Country Community College will host its annual job fair on Wednesday, March 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at the North Country Community College Sparks Athletic Complex gym in Saranac Lake. This event is free and open to the public.
This offers a chance to look at a variety of job opportunities available in the local area with 33 businesses attending and offering part-time, full-time and seasonal positions from entry level to managerial.
Job seekers are encouraged to come and network with employers, along with bringing their resume and be prepared to interview on the spot.
“This job fair event was created nine years ago because I saw there was a demand for employees, and it still continues to this day,” said Lindsay Munn, advertising manager for the Enterprise and News. “This is a great opportunity to connect with multiple employers in one day if you’re looking for a change or a new job and to explore your options.”
Also available will be a special section “Get the Job” that includes over 100 open job positions with the businesses that will be attending the job fair and looking to hire. It includes helpful articles and tips when looking for a job. It will be published in the Enterprise on Saturday, March 1 and the News on Friday, Feb. 28.
For more information about the job fair, call Munn at 518-891-2600 ext. 20.
