SUNY Potsdam recognizes Class of 2024 at commencement

POTSDAM — The State University of New York at Potsdam recognized the Class of 2024 during the college’s 204th commencement ceremony on May 18.

Local graduates include:
¯ Olivia Bell of Saranac Lake, who graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design and New Media
¯ Jenna Chartier of Tupper Lake, who graduated with a Master of Science in Teaching degree in Curriculum and Instruction
¯ Elaina Daniels of Tupper Lake, who graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art Studio
¯ Gabe Faubert of Saranac Lake, who graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice Studies

Sara Rose-McCandlish of Wilmington (Lake Placid High School Class of 2019) has graduated with high honors from Vassar College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
Anne Rose-McCandlish of Wilmington (Lake Placid High School Class of 2022) has graduated from SUNY Delhi with an AAS degree in Welding Technology.

POTSDAM — Students have been named Presidential Scholars for the spring 2024 semester at Clarkson University. Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.
