Mountain Lake PBS recently announced significant changes in its leadership team with the retirement of Beth Davis and the appointment of Maria Smith as the new development director.

Davis has been an integral part of the Mountain Lake PBS leadership team since 2015. Smith’s career path has taken her from her roots in Plattsburgh to the culinary and hospitality scenes of California and back home again. She brings with her a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the community and business development, ensuring a seamless transition and continued success for Mountain Lake PBS.

Smith holds an A.A. in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management from Laney College in Oakland, California, and a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism from California State University, East Bay. Most recently, Maria served as sales manager at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Plattsburgh.
