NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities are investigating the deaths of two men killed in an early morning shooting outside a Harlem food store.
Police say a call came into 911 shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday. Officers responding to 3661 Broadway found two men with gunshot wounds. One man, 21-year-old Kenny Jimenez, had a gunshot wound to his neck. The Manhattan man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other man, 29-year-old Francisco Mercedez of the Bronx, was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his back. He was pronounced dead upon arrival.
An investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made.
