Associated Press

NEW YORK (AP) — The NYPD says two people were found shot, one fatally, inside a parked vehicle in East Harlem overnight.

They say a 33-year-old pedestrian also was found nearby with a gunshot wound to the left forearm.

Police say the Honda Accord's front passenger, 23-year-old Terry Nathaniel of the Bronx, was pronounced dead at the scene around 2:25 a.m. Tuesday. He sustained a gunshot wound to the torso.

The driver, identified as a 27-year-old man, had a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to a hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The pedestrian also was in stable condition.

Police say the car was parked near East 121st Street and Lexington Avenue.

There have been no arrests. The investigation is continuing.
