SARANAC LAKE - Saranac Lake's Sheila Decker was named a high school All-American in the sport of rugby.
Decker, who will be a junior at Saranac Lake High School in the fall, earned the honors for the second time in as many years. Decker was one of 50 players from across the country who was named a girls All-American, with selections based in part on players' performances in regional tournaments held last month.
Decker competed on the Vermont select side team in regional action on June 28 and 29 in Devens, Massachusetts where her squad won four games.
