Singin’ in the blues

June 23, 2014
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
George Boone, of Schenectady, sings the blues at the Northwoods Inn’s Cabin Grill Saturday during the first-ever Lake Placid Blues & Heritage Festival. He was one of 20 acts performing at 10 venues Friday through Sunday in the Olympic Village. Boone was supported on stage by veteran performers Raoul Bowman on bass, Tim Fiato on keyboard and Lance Smith on drums. Organizers hope the festival will become one of Lake Placid’s premier summer events.
