To the editor:
I rediscovered an opinion piece from the May 5 issue of the Adirondack Daily Enterprise. The article, entitled "World problems," was authored by Jesse LaPlante. It is sensitively written, points out human follies in respect to the Earth and to each other. The writer has a very nice view of the natural world, its creatures of the forest, the forest itself and the Earth in general. I was pleased to read the article, and in that it was written by someone who will inherit the future, it gives me a sense that the future may be secure if those of her generation share this writer's perspective.
