SARANAC LAKE - Heidi Gutersloh is the 2014 feature artist for the Women's College Scholarship Club "Taste of the Good Life" raffle.
Gutersloh, a founding member and secretary of NorthWind Fine Arts, is offering two individual pet portraits as prizes for the "Taste of the Good Life" raffle currently being held to raise funds for local scholarships. Gutersloh will photograph the pet and then paint the portrait from the photograph. Each portrait is valued at $350.
Ticket holders have a chance to win more than 60 other prizes, including 100 gallons of fuel oil or propane from HomeEnergy and a two-night stay for four at Cochran's Lakeside Cabins. Prizes celebrating our local amenities are a Mount Pisgah Student Season Pass, a Dewey Mountain family season pass and passes to the fitness centers at North Country Community College and Paul Smith's College. There are also money prizes each week and numerous gift certificates from local restaurants and businesses.
