Santa visit

January 13, 2014
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

On Dec. 7, Santa took a few minutes out to visit the Essex County Sheriff's Office in the county public safety building. During the time here, he gave gifts to more than 100 kids, shared cookies and milk with them and had a very special elf to help out, Deputy Mighty Matthew, who suffers from mitochondrial disease. The Marine Corps Toys Program supplies the toys and the officers help make this event happen on their off-duty time. Major Tom Murphy and Devann Murphy help keep the system running and ensure the toys and project comes to a happy completion.
