WILLSBORO - The Lake Placid boys basketball team won its second game in a row Tuesday with a 41-37 non-league victory over Keene.
The Blue Bombers opened the season Monday with a 37-32 win over Crown Point. Tarik Cecunjanin led Lake Placid in that game with 10 points and seven rebounds, while teammate Scott Rossi chipped in seven and Chris Kordziel had six.
Keene opened the season Monday with a 49-23 victory over Willsboro on Monday. Colton Venner had 24 points for the Beavers.

Lake Placid 4, Saranac Lake 0
SARANAC LAKE - Jayde Dukett had a goal and an assist and Tanner Stanton recorded the shutout to lead the Lake Placid girls hockey team to a 4-0 victory over Saranac Lake on Monday.
It was the season-opener for both teams.
Dukett got the scoring started with an unassisted goal 50 seconds into the game. Neither team was able to muster a goal for the rest of the first period through the second.
Emily Godin scored the Blue Bombers' second goal 4:15 into the third, and teammates Gillian McLean and Payton Barney followed suit to set the final score.
Lake Placid outshot the Red Storm 38-11. Lindsay Reeve stopped 34 shots in goal for Saranac Lake in her first varsity game.
The Blue Bombers will face Alexandria Bay at noon Saturday in Tupper Lake. Saranac Lake will host Salmon River at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2.
