Last year's show sold out, so advance ticket purchase is recommended.

This notorious horror parody - a fast-paced potpourri of camp, sci-fi and rock 'n'roll, among other things - tracks the exploits of naive couple Brad and Janet (Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon) after they stumble across the lair of transvestite Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry).

Still in limited release nearly four decades after its premiere, "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," is the longest-running theatrical release in film history.

It gained notoriety as a midnight movie in 1977 when audiences began participating with the film in theatres. The film has a large international cult following and is one of the most well-known and financially successful midnight movies of all time.

In 2005, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

The local cast members include Leslie Dame, Dylan Duffy, Jim Farnum, Peggy Orman, Jamie Shaughnessy, Matt Sorensen, Lauren Warden, Stephen Wolff, and Olivia Zeis. Production design by Bonnie Brewer.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door if available, and the price includes your very own prop bag. For reservations or more information, call 518-523-2512.

The production is sponsored, in part, by Mike Foote State Farm Insurance.
