Government shutdown stalls Wild Center screening

October 10, 2013

TUPPER LAKE - The East Coast premiere of NASA's new movie, "Water Falls," was supposed to be this Saturday at The Wild Center but has been postponed until further notice due to the federal government's partial shutdown.

"Water Falls" was made for spherical screens like The Wild Center's Planet Adirondack. It uses the sphere to give viewers a global view of water, where it comes from, and where it may be going next.
