Skiff earns infant/toddler care credential

SARANAC LAKE - Barbara Skiff has been awarded The New York State Infant/Toddler Care and Education Credential from the New York State Association for the Education of Young Children.

NYSAEYC formally recognizes the value and specialized knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for practitioners who work with infants and toddlers.

Receipt of this credential recognizes Skiff for her competence, knowledge and professional practice in the areas of infant and toddler development, family and culture, environment and curriculum, and assessment and evaluation.

This credential incorporates the state Core Body of Knowledge, state child care regulations and the code of ethics of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Skiff is a nationally accredited family child care provider who has been caring for local children for 30 years.
