Members sought for Saranac Lake Advisory Board

SARANAC LAKE - The village Board of Trustees is looking for members to serve on its newly created seven-member Downtown Advisory Board.

Interested candidates must be downtown residents, property owners, business owners or downtown event representatives. Letters of interest should be sent to info@downtownsaranaclake.com by Friday, Sept. 27.

The purpose of the advisory board is to make recommendations to the village board on policies, programs and projects that improve and support the downtown. The advisory board's purpose, according to its bylaws, is to "Improve economic vitality by enhancing the experience, image and lifestyle of Downtown Saranac Lake."
