Working together now

August 27, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

To the editor:

The Association of Senior Citizens of Franklin County Inc. recently met with the Saranac Lake Adult Center Board of Directors to discuss the issues and concerns involved in our association coordinator's recent resignation.

After many months of unresolved issues and concerns between the Saranac Lake Adult Center's Board of Directors and our responsibilities in the operation of this center, both boards agreed that it was necessary to put our differences aside and start working together in an effort to maintain quality services and a more relaxed atmosphere at this site. From this point on, both boards have pledged to move forward, not only for the good of the Saranac Lake Adult Center but in concentrating on our efforts toward resolving issues and working for the greater good of our most valued and highly regarded senior citizens.

The ASCFC's Board of Directors will be actively involved with this center's Board of Directors to assure that this commitment is met.

ASCFC board president
