Sock hop with Lost in the ’50’s at Will Rogers

SARANAC LAKE - On Saturday, Aug. 3 at 7:30 p.m., Lost in the '50s will perform at Saranac Village at Will Rogers.

This local band, from Tupper Lake, features Bill and Vivian Gaff and Dave and Betty LaBarge, performing many favorite songs from the 1950s.

Bill, lead singer and lead guitar player, and Vivian, audience entertainer, graduated from Tupper Lake High School and were married in 1961. David, bass guitar player and back-up singer, and also a graduate of Tupper Lake High School, met Betty, a back-up singer for the band, at Camp Navarac which is now Camp Young Life on Upper Saranac Lake. In 1967, Bill and Vivian and David and Betty met up in Canandaigua where they made their home. They have enjoyed entertaining with Lost in the '50s, in Tupper Lake and in various places around Haines City, Fla.

This program is open to the public and a $5 donation is requested.
