PAUL SMITHS - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry flew into the Adirondack Regional Airport in Lake Clear Saturday afternoon.

Ruby Britton, who lives near the airport, said she saw Kerry as he left the facility in a black limousine around 3:30 p.m.

"His window was down a little, and he's got that face that you can usually tell," Britton said.

Behind Kerry's limo was a black SUV containing what looked like special agents, Britton said.

The Enterprise has learned Kerry was in town for the wedding of Drew Collins, son of Bay Pond co-owner Tim Collins, and Mary Forestier-Walker. The wedding took place at 4 p.m. Saturday at St. John's in the Wilderness Episcopal Church in Paul Smiths. Guests mostly stayed in Lake Placid.
