TUPPER LAKE - Michael P. Beaudette, 61, of Tupper Lake passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at the Adirondack Medical Center from complications of liver cancer with his loved ones at his side.
Born Dec. 31, 1951, in Tupper Lake, he was the son of Albert and Geraldine (LaLonde) Beaudette. Michael grew up in Tupper Lake and married Jeanne A. Reandeau on Jan. 17, 1970. She died on Jan. 4, 2007.
Michael in his early years was employed at the O.W.D, and he went on to work construction in Albany for P.J. Beaudet and later A.J. Beaudette out of Syracuse. He was self-employed for a time and later worked at Whitney Industries until retiring due to his illness.
Michael loved hunting and carpentry work in his garage. He enjoyed restoring his 1967 Chevy Chevelle.
He is survived by three daughters: Michelle Rice and her husband Michael, Amy Boudreau and her husband Matthew, Reanda Leonard and her fiance Evan Liscum; nine grandchildren: Kevin Beaudette, Ashley and Austin Rice, Amber, Brandon, Colby and Dillon Boudreau, Jenna Leonard and Kelsie Liscum; brothers and sisters: Pamela Young, Albert "Larry," Jean Hart, Sherman, Richard, Susan Herrman, Anthony "Joe," Katherine Gaudet, Ronald, Gerald, Robert and Paul.
He was pre-deceased by his wife and his parents.
Calling hours are scheduled from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough funeral home in Tupper Lake. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Friday, May 31, at St. Alphonsus Church in Tupper Lake. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
