TUPPER LAKE - The Knights of Columbus will hold its annual fundraising auction Sunday.

The big item up for bid this year is a fiberglass motor boat donated by a local resident. It's a 16-foot 1976 Glastron with a 160-horsepower inboard/outboard motor, with a trailer included.

The event will be held at the former Holy Ghost Academy on Marion Avenue. Doors open at 9 a.m. for a flea market, which organizer Terry Doolen said will feature a variety of goods.

The event begins at noon, and a number of items will be auctioned in addition to the boat, including gift certificates donated by local businesses.

The K of C will also raffle off a combination gas/charcoal grill, and cash prizes will be awarded every hour from 1 to 4 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be available for sale.

The event will benefit the Guggenheim Summer Camp Scholarship Fund, the Catholic Community Youth Group and the K of C Home Association and Community Programs.
