TUPPER LAKE - No one has filed petitions yet to run for two seats on the Tupper Lake Central School District Board of Education.

The terms of school board President Dan Mansfield and board member Dawn Hughes expire this year.

District Clerk Diane Dechene said she has handed out petitions to both Mansfield and Hughes, as well as to Trish Anrig, but none of them have returned the petitions yet. Petitions have to be filed by Monday, April 22.

Anrig, a former employee of the district who now works in insurance, often voices criticism at board meetings and ran an unsuccessful bid for a seat on the board last year.
