Behind the scenes tour at the Wild Center

March 28, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
The Wild Center in Tupper Lake offers a closer look at how the center operates with its Behind the Scenes tours, offered at 1:30 p.m. Fridays through Memorial Day. The tour takes a look at the Wild Center’s green energy system, its life support system that keeps the trout and otters afloat and offers a visit with the wild animal ambassadors. The tours are free for Wild Center members. Non-members can participate for $10 per adult and $7 for children, ages 7 to 14. There is no charge for children 3 and under. Members and non-members can register for a Behind the Scenes tour at the Admissions Desk on the day of the tour. Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the last days that The Wild Center will be open before its closes for the month of April.
