Samantha Culiver of the United States competes on the mile-long run at Mount Van Hoevenberg during Friday’s North America Cup women’s skeleton race. Culiver, of Scottsdale, Ariz. took bronze in the race. North America Cup racing continues today and Sunday at the venue in Lake Placid with the four-man bobsled competitions.
