Hildreth hosts ‘Plein Air Painting in the Ad’ks’

SARANAC LAKE - The Women's College Scholarship Club wll host "Plein Air Painting in the Adirondacks," a presentation by Sandra Hildreth, at 7 p.m. March 6 in the Cantwell Community Room of the Saranac Lake Free Library.

Hildreth is a Saranac Lake artist, who has been doing plein air painting in the Adirondacks for about 10 years. Her presentation will cover her process and techniques, the locations she goes to and will compare this process to other traditional painting methods.

She will also explain about the growing popularity of plein air painting and events, such as the Adirondack Plein Air Festival in August.

The presentation is free and open to the public.
