February 25, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise
Noble, a 200-pound mastiff from Hamburg, pulls a sled of cinder blocks totaling 2,140 pounds at the North Elba Show Grounds Sunday during the eighth annual Lake Placid Snow Pull for dogs. The event, organized by Dan Plosila of Vermontville, was held Saturday and Sunday and featured Malamutes, huskies and Samoyeds as well as other breeds. The next competition for Noble will be in March at the big International Weight Pull Association championship in Calgary, Alberta.
