Seton girls take over Bombers

PLATTSBURGH - The Seton Catholic girls basketball team outscored Lake Placid 22-8 over the second and third quarters Tuesday on the way to a 54-35 victory.

The Blue Bombers trailed 10-8 after one quarter, but fell behind in the middle quarters after being limited to five points in the second and three in the third. Both teams found their range in the fourth with the Knights outscoring Lake Placid 22-19.

Hanna Potter was Lake Placid's leading scorer with eight points. Teammate Chloe Uebrick was not far behind with seven.

Maddison Murnane and Paige Spittler each scored 14 points and Shannon Egan hit for seven to lead Seton Catholic.
